To ensure the achievement of targets and objectives, the following general principles are applied:
- environmental management involves all company functions and activities at every level, within a framework of shared responsibility;
- environmental objectives and targets are made publicly available through the dissemination of this Environmental Policy;
- objectives and targets are progressively implemented through environmental management programs and are periodically updated and reviewed by Management through the Environmental Management System review;
- energy efficiency and the reduction of energy consumption are promoted through the use of renewable sources and increasingly advanced, high-performance equipment;
- Management assigns importance to environmental and energy management by evaluating technical and economic feasibility;
- new materials, processes, and raw materials are selected and developed to ensure non-polluting products, together with safe use and disposal by customers;
- the information necessary to understand the environmental effects of the company’s activities is made available to all interested parties through open and constructive dialogue.
