THE REMOTE LASER WELDING

The PRIMA INDUSTRIE solution for the remote laser welding of large components.

AGILASER is mainly used for the welding of car body parts. The long distance from the workpiece to be processed (granting the maximum accessibility to the part and the minimum repositioning time from one stitch to the other), the flying optics and the multi-tasking tool requiring no set-up, and the great reliability have made AGILASER the ideal machine for the high volume production of stitch welded parts.

Large work volume (11 m3) with greatest accessibility, cartesian, bridge, unitized architecture, excellent accuracy combined with the very high dynamics of the direct drive head, easy programmability: with these features AGILASER is the right machine to satisfy high production needs and flexibility requirements for the integration in the most diverse manufacturing systems.

The communication interface, based on the most widespread field buses, allows a rapid and efficient integration of AGILASER with the Customers' production system, including complex unmanned manufacturing solutions.

AGILASER main features:

  • Flying optics
  • Focusing lens with 1000 mm or 1200 mm focal length
  • 6 axes: 3-axis cartesian machine + head with 3 optical axes
  • Bridge, unitized, compact architecture (optimal ratio between work volume and machine footprint)
  • Easy and quick installation (it doeasn't require structural foundations)
  • PRIMACH-20L CNC:
       - MMI with web technology, Windows® S.O.
       - numerical control based on standard PC with LINUX S.O. and real
         time RTAI extension
       - axes control board with high performance DSP processor
       - digital drives connected with optic fibers
       - flat 15" LCD touch-screen and integrated trackball
